Job summary

Johnsons Cars in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician with an MOT license to join our Skoda Liverpool team. You will service, maintain and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards, using the latest diagnostic equipment, and ensure vehicles are road ready.

You’ll record all work accurately, work safely in line with health and safety standards, and identify additional work through vehicle health checks.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic in a main dealership environment.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality of work.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnosing faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
• Completing repairs, replacing parts, and ensuring vehicles are road ready.
• Accurately recording all work completed in line with company and manufacturer guidelines.
• Working safely and professionally in line with health & safety standards.
• Identifying additional work through vehicle health checks (EVHC process).
