Job summary

Johnsons Cars in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy, professional workshop. You will service, maintain and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards and use modern diagnostic equipment to diagnose faults.

With a focus on efficiency and quality, you will conduct health checks, identify additional work, and ensure all work is logged correctly in our processes while working safely as part of a skilled team. A valid UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic in an independent or main dealership environment.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard.
• Conducting vehicle health checks (EVHC) and identifying additional work.
• Ensuring all work is recorded accurately in line with company processes.
• Working safely and as part of a professional workshop team.
