Job summary

Johnsons Cars in Liverpool is actively recruiting a Diagnostic Technician to perform advanced diagnostics and fault-finding across a range of vehicles in a high-volume workshop.

You will work with modern diagnostic equipment and manufacturer systems to identify and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues, supporting the workshop with technical guidance as needed. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Strong diagnostic experience within a dealership or busy workshop.
• Confident using diagnostic tools and interpreting data.
• Experience with electrical fault-finding (highly desirable).
• High attention to detail and methodical approach.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out advanced diagnostics and fault-finding across a range of vehicles.
• Using modern diagnostic equipment and manufacturer systems.

• Supporting the workshop with technical expertise and guidance when required.
• Completing repairs in line with manufacturer standards.

We’re recruiting an experienced Diagnostic Technician to join our team at Volkswagen Liverpool
