Octane Recruitment is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for a busy main dealership in Stafford. You will perform servicing, diagnostics and repairs with access to modern equipment, supported by a strong workshop team and service advisors.

The role offers a competitive basic salary with realistic earnings through an uncapped bonus and paid overtime, plus ongoing manufacturer training and clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Main dealer or independent garage experience welcomed.
• MOT Tester licence advantageous but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance.
• Completing mechanical and electrical repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Completing repairs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
• Carrying out electronic vehicle health checks and identifying additional work.
• Accurately recording work completed and updating relevant job documentation.
• Working closely with Service Advisors and the wider workshop team.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with workshop procedures.

Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician looking for a busy workshop where you can earn well, receive strong support and be recognised for the work you put in?

We are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join a successful main dealership in Stafford. This is a great opportunity for a technician from either a main dealer or independent background who wants strong earning potential, manufacturer training and genuine long-term progression.

Vehicle Technician – Role

As a Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance

• Main dealership or independent garage experience considered
• MOT Tester licence advantageous but not essential
• Strong servicing, maintenance and repair skills
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
• Full UK driving licence
