Hawk Hiring in Sevenoaks is seeking a Vehicle Technician / Fleet Mechanic to join a long-established independent workshop. The role offers a guaranteed fixed base pay between £35k and £50k, with Monday–Friday hours and strictly no weekend shifts.

You will work with state-of-the-art diagnostic tooling, carry out core repairs, diagnostics, servicing, and MOTs across a varied fleet. This family-run business emphasises training, career stability, and a supportive workshop environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds, or time-served experience.
• Background in independent, dealer, commercial, or fast-fit environments.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Core Repairs: Timing belts/chains, clutches, heavy-duty suspension, brakes & steering.
• Diagnostics: Trace & fix complex electrical and mechanical faults across cars, vans, and buses.
• Servicing & MOTs: Routine maintenance, safety inspections & annual fleet compliance prep.
