Job summary

Hawk Hiring is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic for our Haslemere workshop. Enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend shifts and a basic salary of £35,000–£40,000, within a £35k–£45k package depending on experience.

We provide full MOT Tester training funded by the company and a supportive workshop environment. You will service and diagnose a diverse range of vehicles, handle mechanical repairs, and log digital job cards, using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment while

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent required or preferred.
• Proven experience with servicing and mechanical work across various vehicle types.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and safe workshop practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing and scheduled maintenance across a range of vehicles.
• Perform mechanical repairs from light servicing to heavy component replacements (clutches, cambelts, suspension, etc.).
• Utilise diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
• Complete digital job cards and collaborate with the workshop team to maintain workflow.
