Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician in Preston. The role offers a salary up to £44,000 plus bonus and overtime, with higher base for MOT license holders. Typically a Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm schedule, Saturdays on a rota.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in a workshop, hold a full UK driving license, and have NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent). MOT license is highly beneficial but not required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of workshop experience.
• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds or Mechanical Engineering level 3 (or equivalent).
• MOT License is very beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair; this may include warranty approved work in line with brand parameters.
• Duty of MOT testing (if qualified).

Vehicle Technician Role:
