Hawk Hiring LTD in Warwick is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic to join a respected independent service centre. You will handle a diverse range of makes and models with a focus on quality repairs and right-first-time fixes.

The role offers a balanced daily allocation, access to top multi-brand diagnostic tools, weekends off, and a technician-first culture. Salary £30,000–£40,000 depending on experience, with MOT premium and pension.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent time-served background.
• Strong hands-on background as Auto Technician/Vehicle Mechanic/Workshop Specialist with heavy repairs and diagnostics.
• MOT Tester Licence (DVSA) is a bonus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy mechanical repairs including timing belts/chains, clutch kits, engine overhauls, suspensions, and gearbox replacements.
• Utilize multi-brand diagnostic scan tools to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
• Carry out routine servicing, safety inspections, brake setups, and pre-MOT health checks across various makes.
• Maintain clean job sheets and communicate timelines clearly with front-desk staff.
• Keep the working bay clean and follow health and safety guidelines.
