Job summary

Hawk Hiring is seeking a Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic for its Dartford/Welling sites. You will perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs in a modern workshop, with opportunities to take advantage of ongoing training including MOT qualifications.

The role prefers 2+ years garage experience and a strong mechanical skillset; NVQ Level 3 or MOT cards are advantageous. A full UK driving licence and your own hand tools are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years garage experience performing servicing and basic mechanical repairs.
• Qualifications welcome but NOT essential—attitude and solid mechanical skills matter most.
• Experienced technicians with NVQ Level 3 or MOT Smart Cards will command top-tier pay.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools

• Handle routine servicing and maintenance in a clean workshop.
• Perform repairs and diagnostic fault-finding on vehicles.
• Assist with cambelts and other scheduled maintenance tasks.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 basic (Salary dependent on experience; improvers welcomed)


• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30–17:30 (NO WEEKENDS)
