Hawk Hiring in Chippenham is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join a high-tech dealership workshop. You will service vehicles, perform diagnostics, and repair to exact brand standards in a busy, professional environment.

The role offers £35,000–£40,000 per year, a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturday mornings, and fully funded manufacturer training to keep your skills current and future-proof in a modern diagnostic facility.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent).
• Proven track record in a professional workshop setting.
• F-Gas certification preferred or interest in obtaining it.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing, safety inspections, diagnosis, and mechanical repairs to brand specifications.
• Use up-to-date diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach to troubleshoot faults (electrical, mechanical).
• Accurately complete digital job cards, service reports and fault descriptions.
• Work productively alongside workshop colleagues to maintain a smooth, efficient workflow.
