Lookers Guildford Volkswagen is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join our workshop and work alongside experienced technicians. You will perform health checks, services, and repairs using the latest technology, contributing to high-quality customer outcomes.

The role requires a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, with UK driving licence. Training and career progression opportunities including brand accreditation and EV training are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Brand accreditation training will be provided.
• Diagnostics, MOT and EV experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles.
• Carrying out checks in line with manufacturers guidelines.
• Fitting additional accessories requested by the customer.
• Vehicle health check and report any further work required.
• Checks on lights, tyre pressure, mechanical and electrical components.
• Carrying out minor repairs on new and used vehicles.
• Basic diagnosis in mechanical and electrical areas.
• Carrying out vehicle servicing per manufacturers guidelines.
