Job summary

Lookers Motor Group Limited is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our Battersea Volkswagen workshop in London. You will perform vehicle health checks, services and repairs to manufacturer guidelines, under the supervision of the Aftersales Manager.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a Master Technician Accreditation and a current UK driving licence. Brand accreditation training will be provided, with opportunities for EV/MOT work.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Master Technician Accreditation.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Diploma/qualification training in brand accreditation will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle checks in line with manufacturers guidelines.
• Perform servicing and repairs as requested by customers.
• Carry out diagnostics and repairs with attention to electrical and mechanical issues.
• Obtain authorisation from customers for repairs before work begins.
• Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard.
