Hawk Hiring LTD is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic for their Newbury workshop. The role offers a high basic salary and Monday-to-Friday hours with zero weekend shifts.

Located in Newbury, the dealership provides official VAG manufacturer training (VW, Audi, SEAT, Škoda) and clear pathways for long-term growth, plus pension and tool insurance. You’ll work with EV/Hybrid tech and maintain high safety standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 (or City & Guilds) with 1+ year experience as Vehicle Technician/Car Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence is essential; MOT Tester licence preferred but not required.
• F-Gas certification preferred or interest in obtaining it.

Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance and repairs across VAG range to manufacturer standards.
• Use dealer-level diagnostic equipment to locate and repair faults.
• Work with EV/Hybrid technology, including high-voltage systems.
• Deliver first-time fixes and maintain digital job records with the team.
