Job summary

Hawk Hiring in Ellesmere Port is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a large automotive workshop. You will service, repair and MOT test across cars, vans, and larger vehicles, using modern diagnostic tools.

The role offers a basic salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, Monday to Friday, with no weekend work, a clean, well-equipped site, pension, and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, or MOT Tester.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle servicing, mechanics and exhaust repairs.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out full and interim servicing, exhaust repairs, suspension work, and general mechanical overhauls on cars, vans, and larger vehicles.
• Conduct DVSA MOT tests and pre-MOT preparation across multiple vehicle classes to quality standards.
• Utilise modern diagnostic platforms to identify and fix complex faults accurately.
• Uphold Right First Time standards and maintain a tidy, safe workstation.
