Job summary

Hawk Hiring invites application for a Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our Worthing area workshop. You will diagnose, service, and repair modern petrol, diesel, and electric vehicles to manufacturer standards in a state-of-the-art facility.

Expect a Monday to Friday schedule with no weekends, a lucrative £32,000–£50,000 basic salary, and fully funded training on EVs including Tesla. You will work on premium brands and advanced diagnostics.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair required.
• 5+ years of experience in a high-standard independent or main dealer workshop preferred.
• Strong diagnostic fault-finding capability; experience with German brands or EVs is a plus.
• Valid full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Performing advanced fault-finding and diagnostics on petrol, diesel, and EV systems.
• Carrying out major mechanical overhauls such as clutches, timing belts, and chains.
• Carrying out servicing, health checks, and routine repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Using dealer-level diagnostic tools to solve electrical and mechanical issues efficiently.
