Job summary

Hawk Hiring is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in Basingstoke to deliver high-quality servicing and diagnostics for a prestigious brand. You will work Monday to Friday, with no weekends, in a busy workshop that values accuracy and safety.

You should hold NVQ Level 3 or IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, have solid fault-finding skills, a full UK driving licence, and proven experience in a dealership or fast-paced independent workshop.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Proven dealership or fast-paced workshop experience.
• Strong diagnostic fault-finding skills and solid mechanical expertise.
• Valid full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle servicing and maintenance to manufacturer standards.
• Carry out comprehensive diagnostics using modern tools.
• Execute mechanical repairs and component replacements.
• Work on Hybrid and Electric Vehicles as required.
• Collaborate with a skilled workshop team to ensure quality over speed.
