Job summary

Hawk Hiring in Nottingham is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for a premier main dealer group. You will perform complex diagnostics, maintenance, and warranty repairs across the latest model range in a state-of-the-art facility, with fully funded brand training and strong earning potential.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with Saturdays on a rotating rota, 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, a company pension, and access to employee vehicle acquisition schemes and trade parts

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ / IMI in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent time-served credential).
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out complex mechanical teardowns and rebuilds, including timing belts/chains, gearboxes, clutch assemblies, and engine repairs.
• Harness brand-specific diagnostic platforms to systematically trace and resolve mechanical, electronic, and software faults.
• Conduct routine servicing, safety evaluations, and thorough vehicle health checks (VHC) to strict manufacturer standards.
• Document accurate technical findings on digital job cards and update service advisors on job timelines.
• Maintain strict workshop health and safety standards, tool care, and bay cleanliness.
