Job summary

Lithia UK is offering a Vehicle Technician Apprentice role that combines hands-on dealership work with structured training to achieve an IMI Level 3 qualification. No previous automotive experience is required, and you will attend the Coventry Training Academy during the 3-year programme.

You will learn servicing, diagnostics and repairs, keep records, and gain a long-term career path in a supportive environment with mentoring and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required in automotive industry.
• Must be curious, motivated and willing to learn.
• Must attend Coventry Training Academy 13 times over 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Learn to service vehicles following clear instructions.
• Diagnose, repair and replace vehicle parts and components.
• Carry out vehicle checks and inspections.
• Produce time estimates for repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain repair and service records in the in-house system and for customers.
