Van Mossel Automotive Group UK Ltd in Yeovil (Audi) is seeking a Vehicle Technician to perform pre-delivery inspections, routine servicing and maintenance on VW Commercial Vehicles. You will follow VW guidelines, maintain accurate job records and ensure safety standards are met.

Hours are 42.5 per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. A competitive salary ranges from £32,000 to £39,000 depending on experience, with a range of company benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Vehicle Technician; VW Group experience advantageous.
• Strong mechanical knowledge in servicing and repair work.
• Customer-focused, professional, and collaborative attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose faults using approved diagnostic equipment; follow Brand guidelines.
• Complete documentation accurately and in line with brand guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and warranty procedures.
• Maintain and record warranty and quality standards.
• Ensure vehicles meet safety standards upon return to customers.

Job description

We are looking for a talented Vehicle Technician to join our Audi dealership in Yeovil.

As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll carry out pre-delivery inspections, routine servicing and maintenance on Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, completing accurate job records and following industry-recognised branded, warranty, health and safety guidelines to ensure every vehicle is prepared and returned to customers safely and to Volkswagen quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards, communicating issues back to the workshop controller and completing additional repair work as advised by managers or advisors

• Diagnose faults using approved diagnostic equipment, following Brand guidelines
• Complete documentation accurately and in line with brand guidelines
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies
• Maintain warranty procedures and quality standards
• Ensure vehicles comply with industry safety standards when returned to the customer and any faults been reported and noted on the job cards

What you will need to be a Vehicle Technician at Yeovil Audi:

• Experience as a Vehicle Technician (VW Group experience would be an advantage)
• Strong mechanical knowledge and skilled within servicing and repair work
• A positive and inclusive attitude, who thrives in a collaborative, team environment
• Professional with a customer focused approach
• You must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent
• Full UK driving licence

Hours of work will be:

42.5 hours a week,Monday to Friday: 8.00 am to 5.00 pm

A uniform will be provided
