Job summary

A leading automotive dealership in Poole is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their team. This position offers a competitive salary between £30,000 to £37,000 per annum, along with an excellent benefits package including comprehensive training, pension schemes, and generous leave policies. Ideal candidates will have NVQ Level 3 qualifications, strong mechanical abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, preferably in a main dealership.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose faults using approved diagnostic equipment.
• Complete documentation accurately in line with brand guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
• Maintain warranty procedures and quality standards.

Package:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm (NO WEEKENDS)
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician (Main dealer experience would be an advantage)
• Strong mechanical knowledge and skilled within diagnostic, servicing and repair work
• A positive and inclusive attitude, who thrives in a collaborative, team environment
• Professional with a customer focused approach
• You must be NVQ Level 3 qualified or equivalent
• Full UK driving licence

Job Description:

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards, communicating issues back to the workshop controller and completing additional repair work as advised by managers or advisors
• Diagnose faults using approved diagnostic equipment, following Brand guidelines
• Complete documentation accurately and in line with brand guidelines
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies
• Maintain warranty procedures and quality standards
• Ensure vehicles comply with industry safety standards when returned to the customer and any faults been reported and noted on the job cards
