Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join a leading commercial vehicle specialist in Penrith. The role offers a competitive salary, strong benefits, and a professional, supportive environment.

You will perform maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on vans, LCVs and cars, following manufacturer guidelines and health and safety rules. A full UK driving licence and own tools are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance or City and Guilds equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Own set of tools.
• MOT Licence is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work to a high standard and follow safety protocols.
• Strong team player with a keen desire to develop skills and knowledge.
• Good understanding of health and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on vans, light commercial vehicles, and cars.
• Apply technical knowledge to diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Adhere strictly to manufacturer guidelines and health and safety regulations.
• Ensure vehicles are completed and returned to customers promptly.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all work carried out.
• Keep tools and workspace organised and compliant with safety standards.
