Job summary

HP4 RECRUITMENT LTD is seeking a Vehicle Technician (Vans) in Runcorn. The role focuses on maintenance, servicing and repair of light commercial vehicles, ensuring fleet reliability and safety for a wide customer base.

Working Monday to Friday with optional overtime, the successful candidate will have Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (preferred) and proven experience on vans. Full UK driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience working on vans or light commercial vehicles (LCVs).
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vans and light commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
• Complete MOT preparation and general inspections.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard in line with manufacturer guidelines.
• Accurately complete job cards, service records, and compliance paperwork.
• Work efficiently to meet productivity and workshop targets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / LCV Technician
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Experience working on vans or commercial vehicles (highly desirable)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
