Job summary

E-ppl Ltd in Ashchurch, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, is seeking a Vehicle Technician for a 6-month outside IR35 contract. You will diagnose, service, and repair Fleet platforms to ensure operational readiness and regulatory compliance.

The role offers a Mon-Thu 07:30-16:30 schedule with early Friday finish, weekly pay, and all tools on-site. BPSS clearance required, and relevant qualifications in light vehicle maintenance are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid proof of NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds (or equivalent) Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Proven background as a Vehicle Technician (Fleet, Commercial, or Ex-Forces/Military background preferred).
• Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance (sponsored by E-ppl).

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic inspections, routine servicing, and repairs on designated fleet platforms.
• Complete rectification maintenance ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections.
• Execute fleet upgrades, reworks, and resolve defects identified during quality examinations.
• Maintain strict adherence to site Health & Safety guidelines.

Vehicle Technician | Outside IR35 Contract

Location: Ashchurch, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire

Contract: 6-Month Contract (High Potential for Extension)

Shift: Mon-Thu 07:30-16:30 | Fri 07:30-13:00 (Early Friday Finish!)

• Total Hourly Rate: £22.00/hr total (£17.00 base rate + £5.00/hr living allowance for the duration of the project).
• Weekly Pay: Reliable, weekly payments.
• Overtime Available: Earn extra on top of your standard hours.
• No Tool Hauling: All tools and equipment provided on-site- just bring your standard coveralls and boots!

About the Role

Join E-ppl Ltd on a critical fleet maintenance project in Ashchurch, working alongside a skilled, supportive team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance of Stored and Sustainment Fleet platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must provide proof of the following:

• Qualifications: Valid proof of NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds (or equivalent) Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Experience: Proven background as a Vehicle Technician (Fleet, Commercial, or Ex-Forces/Military vehicle background strongly preferred).
• Clearance: Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance (fully sponsored, managed, and paid for by E-ppl).
