Job summary

Vertu Hyundai Peterlee, part of Vertu Motors, is hiring a Vehicle Technician with a 42-hour week (Mon-Fri) and no weekend work. A basic salary up to £42,740 is offered, depending on skills and experience, plus an over-performance bonus.

You will deliver high-quality workmanship, aim for first-time fixes, and uphold values of trust and honesty. Required qualifications include NVQ Level 3, current technician experience, own tools, and a full UK driving licence.

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3.
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• MOT license preferred but not essential.
• Your own set of tools.
• A full UK driving licence.

We are offering a basic salary up to £42,740 depending on skills and experience. This is based on a 42 hour working week Monday - Friday with NO WEEKEND WORKING plus an additional over-performance bonus opportunity!

Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.
