Job summary

Vertu BMW Sunderland is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join our team. The role focuses on delivering an outstanding customer experience with honest communication, high-quality workmanship and first-time fix targets.

Qualifications

• Formal automotive qualification (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds).
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• MOT license preferred but not essential.
• Your own set of tools.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Provide quality workmanship and achieve first-time fixes.
• Work across Service, Maintenance, Diagnostics and Senior roles as per package.

We are offering a basic salary up to £46,800 depending on skills and experience plus company benefits.

Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.

We're looking for technicians across all levels and packages on offer are dependent upon experience and qualifications however, you can expect packages such as:

• Service and Maintenance Technician salaries from £28,840 up to £36,200
• Service and Diagnostic Technician salaries from £30,000 up to £38,600
• Senior Technician salaries from £33,600 up to £41,600
• Master Technician salaries from £38,000 to £46,800

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
• MOT license preferred but not essential
• Your own set of tools
• A full UK driving licence
