HP4 RECRUITMENT LTD is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician (Vans) in Stockport. The role focuses on servicing, maintenance, and repair of light commercial vehicles to ensure fleet reliability and safety.

You will diagnose faults with the latest equipment, complete MOT prep, and maintain accurate service records. A UK driving licence and team-work ability are essential for this permanent, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is preferred.
• Proven experience as Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / LCV Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience working on vans or commercial vehicles is desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vans and light commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment.

Salary: £36,720 Basic Salary (£43,160 OTE)

Job Type:Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours:Monday to Friday (with optional overtime)

Our client is one of the UKs leading vehicle hire and fleet management businesses, and they are currently looking for skilledVehicle Techniciansto join their growing team across multiple sites nationwide.

This role will focus primarily on the maintenance, servicing, and repair oflight commercial vehicles (LCVs) and vans, ensuring fleet reliability and safety for a wide customer base.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vans and light commercial vehicles
• Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment

• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard in line with manufacturer guidelines
• Accurately complete job cards, service records, and compliance paperwork
• Work efficiently to meet productivity and workshop targets
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
