Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join a busy dealership workshop in Stafford. The role requires Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and a Full UK driving licence. Dealership or independent garage experience is welcome.

Salary starts from £34,000 with a £3,000 productivity bonus and uncapped Time Saved Bonus; OTE up to £41,230+. Hours are typically Monday to Friday 8:30am–5:00pm with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am–12:30pm; permanent, full-time

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, Automotive Technician or Car Technician.
• Dealership or independent garage experience.
• Strong servicing, repair and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and routine vehicle maintenance to required standards.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete vehicle health checks using diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out authorised repair and warranty work.
• Road test vehicles following repairs.
• Complete job cards and workshop documentation accurately.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and workshop safety.

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic Stafford

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, Automotive Technician or Motor Vehicle Technician to join a busy dealership workshop in Stafford. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. Dealership and independent garage experience will both be considered.

OTE: Up to £41,230+ uncapped

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am5:00pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am12:30pm
