Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Vehicle Technician for a premier UK automotive retailer in Chelmsford. The role involves maintaining, servicing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles in line with manufacturer guidelines, using state-of-the-art diagnostic technology.

The ideal candidate holds Level 3 LVMR or Level 2 with 3 years’ experience, has a toolbox, and the right to work in the UK with a full UK driving licence. A competitive salary, overtime, and bonus opportunities are on offer.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair a diverse range of customer and dealership vehicles following manufacturer guidelines.
• Carry out routine servicing, safety inspections, health checks, and fault finding.
• Work on mechanical and electrical systems including brakes, clutches, suspensions, and gearboxes.

Job description

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic role with a Level 3 qualification, or Level 2 Technician / Mechanic with 3 years’ experience, for one of the UK’s leading vehicle retail groups, working on a wide range of vehicles. Great salary, benefits, overtime and bonus opportunities.

Pay / salary: Up to £35,000 basic per annum plus bonus and overtime, OTE up to £60,000
