Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician / PDI Technician to join a busy Sidcup workshop. The role offers a varied workload across prestige and other vehicles with development opportunities and immediate start availability.

The successful candidate will service and maintain vehicles, complete PDI and sales prep, diagnose faults and carry out mechanical repairs to OEM standards, all while upholding high quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician / PDI Technician with approximately three to five years' post-apprenticeship experience.
• Proven experience in servicing, diagnostics and mechanical repairs.
• Strong diagnostic ability and excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain prestige and other vehicles.
• Complete PDI and sales preparation work to ensure pre-owned vehicles are retail ready.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults, including clutches, timing chains and suspension systems.
• Carry out general mechanical repairs to a high standard.
• Work efficiently and independently to OEM specifications.
• Maintain consistently high standards of quality and safety.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Vehicle Technician / PDI Technician to join their busy workshop in Sidcup. This Vehicle Technician / PDI Technician role offers a varied workload across prestige and other vehicles, with opportunities for professional development and immediate start availability.

Benefits:

• £38,000 to £43,000 basic salary, depending on experience
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm
• Optional Saturday overtime paid at time and a half
