Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a busy workshop in Leicestershire. The role offers a basic salary up to £40,000, with a bonus scheme and opportunities to advance within a reputable dealer group.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, strong mechanical and diagnostic skills, and a full UK driving licence. This is a full-time on-site position with ongoing manufacturer-led training.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Experience as Vehicle Technician in dealership or workshop.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct servicing, repair, and maintenance according to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools.
• Perform vehicle health checks and comprehensive inspections.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Maintain accurate job cards and workshop documentation.
• Carry out MOT tests where qualified.
• Support workshop productivity and customer satisfaction.
