Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd client in Derby is seeking an experienced PDI Technician to join their established Aftersales team. The role offers a Monday to Friday schedule, with manufacturer training, development opportunities and a competitive salary package.

You will perform high-quality Pre-Delivery Inspections, service and repair to manufacturer standards, diagnose faults and ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and 3 years workshop experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years' practical workshop experience.
• Previous experience in PDI, vehicle preparation, servicing, or repairs advantageous.
• MOT licence preferable.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new and used vehicles.
• Complete servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle faults efficiently and accurately.
• Perform visual vehicle health checks.
• Ensure vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and prepared to required standards.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and vehicle presentation.
• Work effectively within a busy Aftersales team to meet deadlines and customer expectations
