Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a busy dealership workshop in Ruislip. A Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent), a Full UK Driving Licence, and the right to work in the UK are essential.

The role involves servicing, repairs, diagnostics and health checks to manufacturer standards, with a competitive bonus scheme and career progression opportunities. Weekend work is generally not required.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK are essential.
• Typically around 2 years of workshop experience is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar is desired.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled vehicle servicing to manufacturer standards.
• Complete maintenance and mechanical repairs.
• Diagnose vehicle faults and identify appropriate repairs.
• Carry out electronic vehicle health checks and report findings.
• Liaise with Service Advisors and customers when required.
• Complete all work safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Undertake ongoing technical and manufacturer training.

Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician to join a busy dealership workshop in Ruislip. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, have relevant workshop experience, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.

Location: Ruislip

Salary: £35,000 basic + bonus
