Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a busy dealership workshop in Ruislip. You will handle servicing to manufacturer standards, diagnose faults, and complete repairs with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Essentially, a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and a Full UK driving licence are required. Salary starts at £35,000 basic plus bonus, with OTE around £45,000 and Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent - essential.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
• Around 2 years' workshop experience is preferred.
• Strong servicing, maintenance and diagnostic skills.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organisation and ability to work to deadlines.
• Full UK Driving Licence - essential.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled vehicle servicing to manufacturer standards.
• Complete maintenance and mechanical repairs.
• Diagnose vehicle faults and identify appropriate repairs.
• Carry out electronic vehicle health checks and report findings.
• Liaise with Service Advisors and customers when required.
• Complete all work safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Undertake ongoing technical and manufacturer training.

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician to join a busy dealership workshop in Ruislip. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, have relevant workshop experience, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.
