Job summary

Kemp Recruitment are working with one of the UK's largest manufacturer-owned main dealer groups, to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester for their busy workshop in Preston.

Salary: £32,774 basic, OTE up to £39,500. Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:30pm. Location: Preston. Permanent, full-time role with comprehensive benefits and career development.

Qualifications

• Level 3 IMI / NVQ qualified Vehicle Technician
• MOT Tester licence
• Previous main dealer or workshop experience beneficial
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and a positive, team-focused attitude
• Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and maintenance of customer vehicles
• Mechanical repairs and fault finding
• Vehicle health checks and identifying additional work required
• Completing repairs safely, efficiently and to manufacturer standards
• Using diagnostic equipment and workshop systems
• Keeping accurate job records
• Working closely with Service Advisors and the wider workshop team
• Carrying out MOT testing

Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester - Preston

Salary: £32,774 basic, OTE up to £39,500

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm (42 hours paid per week, 45 minute lunch)

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

What You Will Do

What We Are Looking For
