Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is assisting a Blackburn dealership in recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician. The role entails servicing and diagnostics in a busy workshop, following brand standards, with opportunities for overtime.

Candidates should have 4+ years workshop experience, Level 3 qualification (or equivalent), and a full UK driving license. MOT certification is a plus. Salary up to £37,000 plus bonus and overtime; 8:30am–5pm, Mon-Fri with Saturday rota.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of workshop experience in a vehicle technician role.
• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent (or higher).
• Full UK driving license required; MOT license beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, including warranty work.
• MOT testing duties if qualified.

• Salary - Up to £37,000 Basic + Bonus + Overtime OTE 48k DOE & Qualifications

Vehicle Technician Role

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters
• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)

Vehicle Technician Requirements

• Full UK driving license
• NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds or Mechanical Engineering level 3 (or equivalent). We will also consider a level 2 if you have main dealership experience
• MOT License is beneficial but not essential
