Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician in Blackpool. The role requires 4+ years workshop experience, a Level 3 qualification with proof, and a full UK driving licence. You will service and diagnose faults across vehicle systems, with potential MOT duties where qualified.

Offering a base salary up to £42,000 plus uncapped bonus and overtime (OTE £48k DOE). Regular days Monday to Friday with 45 hours per week and some Saturday mornings on a rota.

Qualifications

• 4+ years workshop experience
• Level 3 qualified with proof qualification
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair (in line with brand parameters)
• MOT testing duties (if qualified)

Vehicle Technician Role:

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters
• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)

Vehicle Technician Requirements:

• Full UK driving license
• NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds or Mechanical Engineering level 3 (or equivalent). We will also consider a level 2 if you have main dealership experience
• MOT License is beneficial but not essential
