Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking a Vehicle Technician for a well-established Nottingham workshop. The role covers servicing, diagnostics, warranties and repairs across a range of vehicles, with a 45-hour week and Saturday rota.

You will have a Level 3 qualification (IMI/City & Guilds or equivalent), MOT desirable, and opportunities for manufacturer training and career progression into senior technician roles.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic with servicing and warranty exposure.
• Strong teamwork, process discipline and a commitment to safety and quality.
• MOT Licence desirable (full training available).
• A proactive attitude and a desire to progress your Vehicle Technician career through manufacturer accreditation training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, diagnostics, warranty and repair work across a range of vehicles.
• Complete maintenance tasks from oil changes to cambelt replacements using digital job card systems.
• Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) to high workshop standards.

£36,182 basic | £45,950 OTE (uncapped time saved + team profit)
