Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is assisting a high-performing workshop in recruiting a qualified Vehicle Technician. The role involves servicing a broad range of vehicles, performing diagnostics and warranty work, and maintaining high standards with digital job cards and eVHC checks.

The ideal candidate has a Level 3 qualification and prior experience in servicing and warranty exposure, with a positive, proactive attitude and a desire to progress through manufacturer training.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI/City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Previous experience as Vehicle Technician/Mb mechanic with servicing and warranty exposure preferred.
• Strong teamwork, process discipline and commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• Completing maintenance tasks from oil changes to cambelt replacements with digital job cards.
• Carrying out electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) to high workshop standards.

The Role

• Servicing and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• Completing maintenance tasks from oil changes to cambelt replacements, supported by digital job card systems.
• Carrying out electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) to high workshop standards.

What We’re Looking For

• A recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic, ideally with both servicing and warranty exposure.
• Strong teamwork, process discipline and a commitment to safety and quality.
• MOT Licence is desirable, but full training can be provided.
• A positive, proactive attitude and a desire to progress your career as a Vehicle Technician through accredited manufacturer training.
