Job summary

A Vehicle Technician position based at Blandford retail centre is open for our client, one of the UK’s fastest growing fast-fit automotive businesses. You will review work on customer vehicles and perform a wide range of fast-fit mechanical tasks, with light and full-service duties.

No formal qualifications are required; the client will support you to gain Level 3 IMI and Hybrid qualifications. Mon-Fri 08:30-17:30, Saturday rota; 32 days holiday; company training, career progression, staff

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence – Essential
• Experience working as a Vehicle Technician (no qualifications needed)
• Desire to learn Hybrid technology and develop skills

Responsibilities

• Perform light and full-service work on customer vehicles
• Carry out fast-fit tasks such as brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension
• Operate wheel alignment machinery and interpret readings
• Collaborate with workshop team to meet targets

Job description

Our client who is one of the UK’s fastest growing fast-fit automotive business, are currently looking for a Vehicle Technician based at their retail centre in Blandford.

As a Vehicle Technician you would be responsible for reviewing work on customers vehicles, completing wide range of fast fit mechanical work and light and full-service work.

You do not need to be a qualified technician for this role. Our client is happy to put you through your qualifications!

Location: Blandford

Pay / salary: up to £35,000, dependent on experience and qualifications

OTE: Uncapped and realistic £3,600

Shift and schedule: 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 – 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.

• Fast fit duties such as replacing and repairing brakes, exhausts, car batteries, suspension parts
• Operating precision wheel alignment machinery, interpreting readings, and completing accurate adjustments
• Carrying out precise tyre diagnostics, fast-fit replacements, and repairs across various vehicle makes
• Working with the rest of the workshop to achieve targets
• Work as a team with the other Vehicle Technicians

To be a Vehicle Technician you will need:

• Valid UK driving licence – Essential
• Experience working as a Vehicle Technician (no qualifications needed)
• Have a passion for the Automotive industry and want to develop further
• Want to learn and develop your knowledge of Hybrid cars
