Perfect Placement is recruiting a fully qualified Vehicle Technician for a prestige franchise‑approved dealership in Kidlington. The role sits in the Service Department and offers a structured career path within a nationwide multi‑dealer group.

The position features a negotiable starting salary based on experience, with an uncapped bonus structure potentially reaching up to £60,000 per year, plus a £2,500 loyalty bonus after six months, and additional performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Vehicle Technician to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• 1–2 years post-qualification experience preferred; Level 2 qualified technicians also encouraged.
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fault diagnosis, servicing, and vehicle repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high quality, maintaining safety, reliability, and performance standards.
• Accurately diagnose vehicle faults, report findings to the Service Manager.
• Adhere to all quality procedures laid out by the dealership and manufacturer.
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Work effectively within a team environment to meet operational targets.

Our client is seeking a fully qualified Vehicle Technician to join their Service Department. Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

• One to two years' post‑qualification experience preferred, ideally within a franchise‑approved dealership; however, experienced Level 2 qualified Vehicle Technicians are encouraged to apply
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high‑quality work
• Good team player with a positive attitude and motivation to meet targets
• Ability to work efficiently within a fast‑paced, stringent dealer environment
