Job summary

HP4 RECRUITMENT LTD is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join a national fleet maintenance team, focusing on Vans/LCVs. The role offers a stable, full-time career with structured hours and potential overtime.

You will service, repair, and inspect light commercial vehicles, diagnose faults with modern equipment, and complete MOT preparation while keeping paperwork up to date. A Level 3 NVQ or equivalent is preferred, with a full UK licence.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / LCV Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vans and light commercial vehicles
• Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
• Complete MOT preparation and general inspections
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard in line with manufacturer guidelines
• Accurately complete job cards, service records, and compliance paperwork
• Work efficiently to meet productivity and workshop targets
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment

Salary: £37,639 Basic Salary (£43,639 OTE)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (with optional overtime)

About the Role

Our client is one of the UKs leading vehicle hire and fleet management businesses, and they are currently looking for skilled Vehicle Technicians to join their growing team across multiple sites nationwide.

This role will focus primarily on the maintenance, servicing, and repair of light commercial vehicles (LCVs) and vans , ensuring fleet reliability and safety for a wide customer base.
