Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Hatfield is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a leading car dealer group representing luxury brands such as Volkswagen and Bentley. This opportunity offers a state-of-the-art workshop and a 40-hour week with strong earning potential.

You will diagnose, service and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards, with ongoing training and career development within a professional team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Vehicle Technician or Master Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of luxury vehicles and modern automotive systems.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out diagnostics, servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Work on Volkswagen, Bentley and other luxury vehicles.
• Complete all work within agreed timeframes and to a high standard.
• Prepare accurate repair reports and update customers and colleagues as required.
• Maintain excellent health and safety standards throughout the workshop.
• Support the training and development of junior technicians when required.

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our leading car dealer group in Hatfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to join a reputable dealership representing luxury automotive brands, including Volkswagen and Bentley.

This Vehicle Technician opportunity offers excellent earning potential, modern facilities and genuine career development within a supportive, professional team. Our Vehicle Technician will work from a state-of-the-art workshop equipped with 16-18 ramps and high-quality diagnostic and repair equipment.

Benefits:

• Basic salary of £38,000 to £48,000 per annum, depending on experience
• Bonus potential of up to £12,000, including individual bonuses of £400 to £1,200 and team performance bonuses
• 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
• Only one in four Saturday mornings on a rota, finishing at 12pm
• 22 days' holiday plus bank holidays

Duties:

• Work confidently on Volkswagen, Bentley and other luxury vehicles
• Complete all work within agreed timeframes and to a high standard

• Maintain excellent health and safety standards throughout the workshop
• Support the training and development of junior technicians when required

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Master Technician
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge of luxury vehicles and modern automotive systems
• Relevant qualifications, such as IMI or ATA endorsements
• A full UK driving licence
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
