Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Hatfield is representing a reputable car dealership group seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team. The role offers strong earning potential and a clear progression path in a modern, state-of-the-art facility.

You will diagnose, repair and service a range of vehicles to manufacturer standards, with a focus on luxury brands such as Volkswagen and Bentley. A UK driving licence and IMI/ATA endorsements are preferred, and you’ll contribute to training

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Master Technician.
• Strong diagnostic ability and knowledge of luxury brands.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and routine servicing to manufacturer standards.
• Maintain technical expertise, especially for VW and Bentley.
• Ensure work is completed within timeframes and to customer satisfaction.
• Complete detailed repair reports and communicate with colleagues/customers.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations in the workshop.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior technicians.

We are representing a reputable car dealership group in Hatfield, actively seeking a skilled vehicle technician to join their dedicated team. This vehicle technician role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals committed to maintaining high standards of vehicle servicing and repair within a modern, state-of-the-art facility.

Benefits:

• Competitive salary between £38,000 and £48,000 per annum, with potential to earn up to £60,000 including bonuses
• Attractive bonus scheme with individual bonuses of £400 to £1,200 and additional group incentives based on performance
• Working hours from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with only one in four Saturdays on a rota, finishing at 12pm
• 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing after one year's service, plus an additional birthday holiday

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Master Technician with a strong diagnostic ability
• Good understanding of luxury vehicle systems and components
• Full UK driving licence
• Relevant qualifications such as IMI or ATA endorsements
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
