Autotech Recruit is helping a leading automotive retailer in Hatfield recruit a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a modern workshop. You will service, repair and diagnose vehicles to manufacturer standards, with strong earning potential and clear progression.

The role offers extensive training, a supportive team, and opportunities for development within a dealer group. A welcome bonus and generous leave schemes are included where applicable.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Level 2 Technicians will be considered.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician in a dealership or professional workshop.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults efficiently and accurately.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify repair requirements.
• Complete all work to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Provide technical support and advice where required.
• Maintain accurate workshop records and job documentation.
• Work closely with service advisors and workshop control to ensure efficient workflow.
• Support and assist fellow technicians within the workshop team.

Salary: OTE up to £60,000 + £2,500 Welcome Bonus*

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification.
• Experienced Level 2 Technicians will also be considered.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership or professional workshop environment.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
• Good understanding of vehicle safety and repair standards.
• MOT Tester licence advantageous but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence.
