Job summary

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a reputable franchise dealership in Hastings, East Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional looking to develop their career within a well-established and customer-focused business.

Basic salary up to £40,000, with OTE reaching £52,000 dependent on experience. Monday to Friday 08:00/08:30 – 17:00, with full funding for MOT licence and brand training opportunities to support progression.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a main dealership preferred.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and troubleshoot proactively.
• Good organisational skills and time management.
• MOT licence preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment and systematic approaches.
• Servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Liaising with customers to understand issues and explain work required.
• Conducting road tests and quality checks after repairs.
• Upholding safety standards in the workshop at all times.
• Completing documentation in line with brand and warranty requirements.
• Maintaining workshop housekeeping and using personal tools.
• Collaborating with colleagues and service advisors to deliver high service standards.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

• Diagnosing vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment and systematic approaches
