Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Lincoln is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their team. You will carry out repairs and servicing to manufacturer standards and work within a 45-hour week.

The role offers a basic salary up to £38,150, with an OTE of around £45,000, plus employee benefits and ongoing training to support career development.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Qualification in Vehicle Repair or equivalent.
• Experience in a main dealer or independent workshop.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a full range of mechanical repairs and servicing on vehicles.
• Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer standards and within set timeframes.
• Maintain high standards of vehicle safety and cleanliness.
• Assist and guide junior staff members as required as a Vehicle Technician.
• Complete relevant documentation and reports accurately.
• Support the workshop team in achieving daily productivity targets.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

Requirements:

• Level 3 Qualification in Vehicle Repair or an equivalent qualification
• Relevant experience in a main dealer or independent workshop environment
• Valid MOT licence is highly desirable but not essential
• Ability to perform a full range of mechanical and diagnostic tasks
• Strong team player with good communication skills
• Proactive attitude with a commitment to quality workmanship
