Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. is helping a leading franchised main dealer in Worthing, West Sussex recruit a highly skilled Vehicle Technician. This role offers a competitive salary, ongoing training and clear opportunities for progression within the group.

The successful candidate will perform services and repairs to manufacturer standards, work well as part of a team, and participate in regular training to update technical skills. Monday to Friday 08:00–16:30 with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings.

Qualifications

• Relevant Level 3 professional qualification (NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds/BTEC) or equivalent.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional attitude.
• Good organisational skills with ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle services and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Follow dealer/brand processes to ensure consistent quality.
• Liaise with customers to explain repairs and service work.
• Support and mentor less experienced colleagues in the workshop.
• Attend regular training to maintain technical skills as a Vehicle Technician.
• Maintain a clean, safe workshop environment in line with health and safety.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct vehicle services and repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards

• Liaise directly with customers when required to explain repairs and service work
• Support and mentor less experienced colleagues within the workshop
• Attend regular training sessions to maintain and update technical skills as a Vehicle Technician
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety standards

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

• Relevant Level 3 NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent qualification
• Prior workshop experience within a franchise dealership is essential
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
• Excellent customer service skills and professional attitude
• Good organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Commitment to quality and continuous improvement in technical knowledge
