Job summary

A Vehicle Technician position in Harrogate, working for a long‑standing independent garage with an excellent reputation. You will be expected to perform servicing, repairs, MOT testing and diagnostics, with all the latest diagnostic equipment available.

The ideal candidate should hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, a current UK driving licence, and have their own toolkit. The role offers a basic salary up to £38,000 with potential OTE £42,000 and no weekend work.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within an independent garage located in Harrogate.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

• Basic Salary from c. £32,000-£38,000 depending on experience.

Duties for the Vehicle Technician include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
• MOT Testing
• Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
• Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards

Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:

• A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
• Dedicated and committed approach.

The salary of this role is up to £38,000 basic with OTE of £42,000.

Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 5:30 with NO WEEKENDS.
