Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is recruiting a Vehicle Technician in Darlington to join a busy workshop. The role offers a basic salary up to £38,000 with an OTE of £48,200, based on experience.

You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, with one in three Saturdays, 8:30 am – 12:30 pm. The company provides extensive training and clear opportunities for progression within a major UK automotive group.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Proven experience as Vehicle Technician within a workshop environment.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training to enhance skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and service vehicles to the highest standards.
• Conduct diagnostic checks and identify faults or wear and tear.
• Perform repairs and maintenance in accordance with DVSA standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clear communication.
• Utilise the latest technology to carry out all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
• Maintain workshop safety and efficiency at all times as a Vehicle Technician.
