Job summary

Vertu Nissan Glasgow South is recruiting skilled Vehicle Technicians to join our Aftersales team and support customers across the Nissan range.

The role offers a 4-day week with no weekend working, a £4,000 sign-on bonus, ongoing Nissan training including hybrid and EV modules, and clear career progression within Vertu Motors. You will service, repair, diagnose, and carry out inspections to manufacturer standards, using your own tools with a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Automotive Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
• Previous Vehicle Technician experience.
• Your own tools.
• Full UK driving licence.
• MOT Tester accreditation would be beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing vehicles efficiently and safely.
• Diagnosing and rectifying faults.
• Completing vehicle health checks.
• Carrying out routine, diagnostic, and more complex repairs.
• Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
• Delivering first-time fixes and excellent customer outcomes.

• Prep Technician: £28,000 - £37,000
• Service & Maintenance Technician: £28,840 - £38,200
• Service & Diagnostic Technician: £30,000 - £40,600
• Master Technician: £36,000 - £47,800

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll play a key role in delivering a first-class ownership experience by carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to manufacturer standards.
